Meet Kathryn,
I am nationally board certified through the American Reflexology Certification Board after having completed a 300-hour course of study at the Academy of Reflective Wellness in Salisbury, North Carolina. I continued my education with certifications in Facial Reflexology or Dien Chan, the Brain Gut Axis, Korean Hand, and Ear Reflexology. I am a member of state and national Reflexology associations including the North Carolina Reflexology Association. Before finding my love of Reflexology I graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Bachelors Degree in Philosophy and Women's and Gender Studies.
My personal life experience has provided me with a foundation of knowledge rooted in the principles of whole-body wellness, which include mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual tenants. Each person is a complete individual on their own path to wellness. It is my honor to provide a safe space for which my clients can find balance while attaining relaxation.
I am currently on the board of NCRA. We are actively working with representatives and lobbyists in Raleigh to pass legislation allowing for Reflexologists in the state of North Carolina to continue to work and to do so without over regulation from outside modalities. This will create one of the highest standards for education and practices in the country and ensures that your Reflexologists in the state are tremendously qualified and able to work with you appropriately.
